Asif Ali Zardari is a Sugar Dealer not a Narcotics and Drugs Dealer by PakReportPakReport posted on 1268659808|%A: %d %B, %Y|agohover
In the start of 1980 Asif Ali Zardari began his professional by sugar trade, however within a year he had become involved in drug-trafficking, earning millions of dollars annually. According to one business partner, Mushtaq Prince, Zardari made a profit of US$ 30 million in three years between 1981-84 by smuggling drugs. Mushtaq Prince claimed to have been introduced to Mr Zardari in 1981 by one of the latter’s close friends Fauzi Ali Kazmi — already declared a proclaimed offender in the case — at the residence of the then Sindh Province information secretary Ahmad Masood. In the second meeting, held at Fauzi Ali Kazmi’s residence the three went into partnership and in the wake of this agreement, consignments of hash and heroin were smuggled to Netherlands and other countries. Mushtaq Prince in a court testimony claimed that Asif Ali Zardari then double crossed him and to-date has not given him his share of US$ 7.5 million. (read more…)

Warming Relationship between India and Israel by PakReportPakReport posted on 1265131788|%A: %d %B, %Y|agohover
Relations between India and Israel are at all time high. Surprisingly, this is besides the fact that India continues to support the Palestinian people’s “legitimate right” to statehood. While publicly claiming its support for the Palestinians, surprisingly it has developed strong diplomatic, military and trade ties with Israel. Once obvious proof of this strong relationship is the influx of huge numbers of Israeli tourists into India, even in places as remote as Dharamkot in Himachal Pradesh. This strengthening relationship is on top of the fact that it was only in 1992 that India recognized the state of Israel. For a friendship that is less than 20 years old, the two mates have developed more than intimate relationship, far surpassing the special relationship between USA and UK. (read more…)

Melting glaciers and reduced Himalayan snowfall could result in the first Global Warming war by Hammad NawazHammad Nawaz posted on 1265064392|%A: %d %B, %Y|agohover
written by Shayan Khan
Water is essential for life and this is nowhere more so understandable than the region of South Asia where the entire economies depend on river waters. A year which sees decline in river flow consequently results in decline in the overall crop output, resultantly in lower economic activity. This region heavily relies on glacier waters and tethers on edge with regard to the distribution of water between bordering countries, especially Pakistan and India. It is now a yearly routine when both countries accuse each other of stealing water – not literally – but by building dams on rivers which flow through the two countries, thereby denying the other of much needed water. However, this has not resulted into any significant incident, yet, as there has never been such a severe reduction in the amounts of water that a country’s agricultural system collapses. But these highly public verbal ultimatums might not be the final limits anymore, if the latest findings of scientists are correct. (read more…)
